Power supply? How could the power supply trigger the stomp hanging non responsive? I was thinking of buying a second power supply as the one that comes with the device does not look so solid built.

Thanks for checking. I did another reset and now it all works again as normal. It could be something with my device, occasionally the stomp starts and hangs, no sound, no response from the buttons. Power cycle tends to fix it but it is annoying. Luckily it does not happen too often.

I noticed that, after the 3.71 update, the 'PAGE Right' button on HX Stomp is no longer responding. 'PAGE Left' still works as normal. Pressing both 'Page Left + Right' also does not work anymore (probably because Page Right does not work). I have done a factory reset as suggested in the update procedure. Any suggestions?

Makes sense. Problem is that I cannot tell much. I run the latest firmware 3.60 and I already did a factory reset. What happened is I enjoyed playing, as the stomp preset sounded great, at the end of my playing I switched off the stomp and went to sleep, the day after when I switched on the stomp all preset sounded super muddy. What I also experience (not sure if it is related to my bigger problem): - sometime when I switch on the stomp, no sound at all from the stomp. So I have the switch off and switch on to get sound again. - sometime when I am using HX edit, connection is lost and again I need to switch off and switch on again to get the stompt connected. These 2 issues look like more like bad software. Usually bad software is fixed with reboots.

The same happened to my Stomp. Everything worked fine for a month, but then one day, when I switched the Stomp on, all preset suddenly sound all as if bass was at 10 and treble at 0 and max gain. All presets are now super muddy. A reset did not fix the problem. So, now I'm stuck with a Stomp that sounds awful. I hope someone finds a fix.

I'm trying to understand amp controls of Helix model and how they relate to the real amp. Presence, Bass, Mid, Treble are easy as those map 1 to 1 with the amp naming. I struggle with the following 3 settings: "drive", "ch volume" and "master volume" on Helix. JCM800 (according Marshall webpage) has 2 additional settings 1. Master volume 2. Pre-amp volume My question is what corresponds to "Master volume" and "pre-amp volume" on Helix? Thanks for helping a newbie:-)
