  1. Thank you rd2rk for sharing your amazing experience, i only use FRFR at home with low volumes just to finish and dont bother you anymore! so you say that PC212 speaker sims (any of them) at high volume is the same experience as using a poweramp with 212 cab? (no matter the speaker type?). regards!
  2. Thanks! yes i have the 212 and when I play it loud it shines! I really like how the speaker sims sound but is just my obsesive side that wants confirmation that they sound like a real 212 cab with speakers and not "hifi". Also do you apply any kind of EQ for the speakers models, or use them just how they are? thanks for all your help!
  3. Thanks! that would mean that the difference between LF RAW frecuencies and speaker sims is that the LF RAW has way more frecuencies (hi and low) than a normal guitar speaker? Also, do you think that the speaker sims are like a real speaker soundwise (frecuencies, thump etc)? I dont care that they sound like the real deal but just like a real speaker in a cab.
  4. Thanks, and what are the EQ differences between LF RAW and the speaker models? It seems the LF RAW has more bass and hi frecuencies than the speaker models (sounds good but with a lot more mid frecuencias and less hi and low)
  5. Hi PC212+ user here, What are the EQ differences between LF RAW and the speaker models? It seems the LF RAW has more bass and hi frecuencies than the speaker models (speaker sims sounds good but with a lot more mid frecuencias and less hi and low) The feel of the Lf Raw IMHO is more "real" than the speaker models and I want to achieve that with the speaker models. Regards.
  6. what are the specs (frecuencie range) of the eminence 12 speakers?
  7. yes, thanks! asked line 6 and they told me to bring to service (I live in Chile and we dont have here so I wanted to do it myself), the new display is sold by full compass but maybe is some electric resistor or any other issue (it seems it got failed during an electric outage). I opened and reached the inside but couldnt find how to open the display compartiment behind the speakers, I think I will leave that way.
  8. Hi guys, what is the frecuency response of just the woofers in the PC212+ (LF RAW MODE). The powercab is 70hz-20Khz but including the coaxial tweeters.
  9. thanks, I know, but now the problem is that the blue light (electroluminiscence light) never worked again, just once when I reainstalled the firmware, but once i turned off the powercab did not work anymore, I can use the display with no light, not a big problem but I would like to repair it to have it mint.
  10. yes got it. I was trying to have the same sound and feeling EQing the NATURAL with the LF RAW, to have a EQ curve to apply to the other speaker sims to have more highs and low thump, but then I realized what you said, the LF RAW sounds with a lot more high and low punch because is a FRFR speaker with no hi or low cuts at all, is the full range 70hz to 20Khz, the speaker sims recreate the guitar normal range 80-100hz to 5K so at low volume sounds muffled but at high volume sounds amazing and cuts really weel in the mix, so I stopped my search for the unicorn!
  11. is it possible to access the display? i need to repair the screen!
  12. from a moment to another the electroluminicent light (blue light) stopped working, just worked for a while after I reinstalled the firmware but once I turn it off, the next time wasnt working, what could be a solution? Also is there a guide to how to dissassembly it to get to the display? regards.
  13. @somebodyelse true! good point. Good to know that the PC+ vintage sound really close to the real v30 you had tho' thanks!
  14. thanks @rd2rk its not, not even all 212 v30 cabs will sound the same, even the same cab (same brand etc etc) could sound slightly different, and I guess line 6 engenieers AB the speaker sim with some specific type of cab to model the powercab ones.
  15. Thanks @rd2rkno, im not so picky either, just trying to get the most "real" feel and sound from the speaker sims, for example the vintage to sound and feel just like a real 212 v30, at high volume sounds amazing, but the thing i dont understand is why in LF RAW it sound with more low end and hiss but if you take the natural speaker (thats suppose to sound just like the LF RAW) it sounds with some kind of aggresive hi cut and low cut, but as you said, at high volume beucaes of the fletcher munson its sounds amazing, not intender for home use, but for live and rehearsal.
