Thanks! I am planning to buy either. I was wondering about this because I heard there are some of the old models that had theirs damaged even if they are not abused. And thought about an alternative before getting it repaired

I'm wondering what if a foot switch or a knob on a HX/helix is destroyed, can we use a midi controller footswitch to act as that destroyed footswitch or an expression pedal act as that destroyed knob?
