I'm with you on the "step back" in terms of options both hardware and software. But, sometimes you have to take a step back to move forward. That's how I see it. Do I want the options that were available on the older products? Yes The sounds I am using now (HD) trumps the older stuff in spades. That is way more important to me. I prefer Sound Quality over options. It is not a perfect world but if you have tools you can work with to get your sound then it's a done deal. Is anyone using a voltage regulator in their setup? It might be a voltage issue affecting the M20d.

Check your output settings and guitar input pad.
