  1. No you're not :) I had the same issue, now I have solved this issue and everything goes perfect on old and new MacBook Pro, as well as iMac and even iPad. Here's the solution: Say bye bye to Line6 as they're simply incompetent. Say Hello to Steinberg UR22C it is just: !..! You will have a better Cubase (note that you might not need those extra but still) for free as well. You will buy from a pro in this branch, and they're really professional (not consciousless incompetent like Line6) You will get no problem at all with running 64bit OS. And everything works soooo great. You will even get to buy an additional USB Dongle to be sure you will never need internet connection to use Cubase and Steinberg tools (not needed at home or on one computer to just play for yourself on headphones though). At the moment the UR22C is in sale so enjoy it! Really Line6 doesn't admit the issue is theirs. Steinberg had this issue and solved it in 2 weeks Roland had this issue too and solved it in 3,5 weeks Boss had this issue too and solved it in one month Behringer had this issue too (and they're supposed lower quality, yet much better than Line6 it appears) solved it in a month! BYE Line6 You won't fool us any longer!
  2. I am returning the product as from Monday. im still hesitant between Roland, Steinberg and FocusRite... I guess I'll also loose the license of Steinberg Cubase LE when returning the UX2. but nevertheless, even with garageband, recording will be better than no recording at all :) GoodBye Line6! Enjoy the bad reputation you'll get and you just fairly earned!
  3. I am returning the product. im still hesitating between Roland, Steinberg or FocusRite what will you choose?
  4. Hi guys, I have been having the same issue but with the UX2. Noticed if you switch to safari (or iTunes, or any other third apps than Line6's) right after the device is connected and recognised by POD Farm or Garage Band, you can still keep on playing (recording ,might be way more difficult) The thing is Catalina will no longer support 32bit softwares / drivers. for driver Apple has made some security requirements update with OS 10.15.x Line6 updated the drivers to run on 64bit macOS but... they missed something in the process. They won't admit that and the support from Line6 (the person I got to correspond with was cdegardin) is completely useless in this topic. They reject the responsibility to Apple. Whereas Focus Rite, Steinberg, Roland, and even cheaper brands such as Behringer, already solved this issue, as it comes from driver and/or firmware. Still I got Apple support, who got very helpful and competent. they made me check almost everything in their product: macOS (except the code from Line6 of course). Apple even told me, that before spending a lot of money I should know that this issue is from the manufacturer of the USB Interface and not from Apple (in case I was considering to upgrade my MBP just for that). In other words, I was not convinced by Line6 being good (I mean their Pocket POD is just a big stack of sh...ame), but this driver issue convinced me about their inefficiency. the support bullsh...ame reaction convinced me to return the product and change it to another brand. Still hesitating between Steinberg and FocusRite though. Bye Bye Line6, hope you get into some trial troubles that make you unable to sell your sh...ame products that expensive anymore. the UX2's worth no more than 29USD IMHO I was following this other thread: https://line6.com/support/topic/55146-mac-os-catalina-pod-farm-259-crashes/
  5. By the way. if you use pod farm, just plugin everything (instrument and so on) to the pod but do NOT yet connect pod to Mac Just ensure all inputs are muted then start your Mac login and all and start safari window or iTunes or any app not susceptible to use your POD at anytime Connect your POD To USB on Mac launch the license manager get it authorize your POD (again, as every time you plug it in, as Line6 bad developers didn’t take the time to make a license file) Start POD Farm immediately switch to safari window enjoy the non crashing go back to POD Farm and play few seconds in case you miss the crashes
  6. Could you please create a ticket? they might as well tell you to contact Apple. Nonsense, as other Audio interfaces manufacturers such as FocusRite and Steinberg also encountered an issue but THEY already fixed their drivers and apps, but still Line6, out of incompetence is asking you to contact Apple. but if you don’t wish to contact Apple... Rest assure you don’t have to. maybe Line6 thinks that just because of them Apple will remove Catalina and ask the whole world to stop updating their Macs or stop buying new ones ... Well I contacted Apple as asked in the ticket I created, they’ve been really supportive and we tried everything on the Mac during 1 hour over the phone. Conclusion: Please contact Line6 To have them update their softwares and pilots. That’s the last possible issue that is remaining. I think I will ask some youtubers To make a video of this issue and send them the content of my ticket by Line6 support. that won’t be good for the company but they fooling us ... so it’s kinda they force us to do so, don’t you think?
  7. Promised to keep you posted Still didn’t receive any answer ... but in their confirmation email they state they’ll need 3 business days to provide feedback. within 3 business days I could have recorded a lot of parts ... maybe if you guys also create tickets it will make them take this issue more seriously?
  8. Hi Not sure where you saw the version 2.6 of POD farm but I’d like to have it too :) pod farm crashes after few seconds of playing / recording with any other software too... for sure line 6 pod UX2 and pod farm 2.5 are far behind development. To be honest it feels like line6 wants to stop those product (or maybe they’re not trying to be competitive anymore!?) pod farm 2.59 crashes after few seconds of playing recording will be tough. If you love Line 6 Produkts (appr. T200€) More Thanks you live your mac (appr. 2000€) then go for Line 6 if you still live your mac then Update to Catalina and choose any other brand for your audio interface i recently bought a POD UX 2 and honestly it’s not worth the 200 bucks. 6 months after Catalina being released and they still didn’t follow ... looks like they dumped this product dev tbh
  9. I created a ticket. i will keep you guys here posted, or at least I’ll try. @aleshin 1) being rude might not be best way to get support in general... just makes others want to avoid you. 2) being polite, on the other hand, and reasonably speaking, can really be efficient in explaining your disappointment. 3) they (Line6 company) already have your money. So in the end you’re the one in trouble now. Not them. 4) if nevertheless should you still ignore that and wish to be rude, do not hesitate to create a dedicated thread, we, here, are trying to get efficient support On a constructive way as an example of politely talking and for your guidance: if anyone from Line6 support team read this topic, by any chance, it would really be appreciated by us, Line6 customers, that our supplier is consider the trouble we are into at the moment. we all understand that due to the covid19 situation the lead time of treating tickets is impacted. Nevertheless your customers are also impacted by the situation, and being confined is for us the opportunity to enjoy more often the Line6 products we purchased. fixing this issue might settle a good relation with the impacted customers, whereas not fixing this issue soon will make your concurrent make more customers. considering the unsatisfied customers can have more impact and influence than satisfied customers. thanks in advance
  10. Hi, I also have this issue, that’s really annoying as I just purchased the UX2 and cannot use it. having one month to return it, so I guess I won’t wait too long if no update is coming next week... the UX2 will be going back to its originator and that lot of money back to me. i just mean to say Catalina was released mid October last year... half a year (not counting the beta version I presume the Line6 developers should have) is already a long time to just make a driver for 64 bits OS... also lots of musicians use Apple Macs... ijs
