  1. Hi Slokos, Glad to see you got yours working. I have a Galaxy Tab A7 and can not get the Edit app to work at all. Did you have any trouble or know of any tricks? Thanks
  2. Forgot to mention, at some point will try a different USB-B to USB-C cable between the Catalyst 60 Amp and Samsung Android 12 tablet. But as far as I know they should all be the same. Anybody out there use a this type of cable successfully with Edit app and if you have a link to the one you got that would be much appreciated.
  3. So I am guessing there are at least 2 indicating states, possibly 3? of the USB symbol: 1. Completely off (grey) - ?? 2. Flashing (white) - no connection / or some kind of a problem 3. Solid (white) - all is good The weird thing is that when I have the Edit App open and plug in the USB cable to the tablet (with the Amp USB connected and powered up too), I get a white pop up box asking if I want to allow the App to control the Amp and it even calls it out as a Catalyst 60 with a version number. Its has to be doing some kind of communication to get that information. But yet after that, nothing works? Also, when the Amp is off and I plug the USB cable into the tablet, I do not get the permission pop up. Another indicator that it is communicating at some level. P.S. I have put in a support ticket for this and hope I can figure it out.
  4. Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I am using an Android 12 Samsung tablet and a USB B - C off Amazon. I also have a Spider Amp so will try the tablet/cable on it and see what happens with its App. I wish I could find a manual for the Catalyst Edit App. There are some icons at the top and I am not sure what they mean. For example, there is a USB symbol at the top right that is flashing on and off. But what does that mean? USB connection good? Problem with USB connection? What? So far I have found no manual or forum post that can tell me what the USB symbol and its various indicating states mean. Its so frustrating to have a problem and not even a manual to refer to for trying to figure it out.
  5. Tried a bunch of knobs and button on the amp and nothing changed in the Edit App. Seems like there is simply no communication of any kind in either direction.
  6. I just tried Catalyst Edit on my new Catalyst 60. Using an Android tablet, with amp turned on and the Catalyst App running, I plug the USB-B to USB-C cable into the Android tablet. I pop up comes up asking if I want to allow the Edit app to take control of the amp and I respond YES. Everything seems to be OK, but no changes of any kind on the Edit App change anything on the amp. I have tried several other connection sequences as well like plugging in the cable first, getting the pop up "Do you want to allow....." and going to the edit app but under no circumstances so far have I been able to get the Edit App to change anything on the amp. Any suggestions? Also, is there a manual for the Edit App for download somewhere?
  7. Any one know where to get a manual for catalyst edit?
  8. Been playing around with the SV Remote on Windows 10 and find it pretty useful. But it seems like some settings are not available? Like on the amp itself, I can adjust for using full range or classic speaker using the knobs. I see it change in SV Remote when I do this. But I can't find any way to change speaker setting from SV Remote. Am I missing something?
  9. I already have the Windows 10 Spider V Remote but I also have an Android tablet. Says in the manual there is an Android App as well, but I can not find it anywhere. Anybody know where to get it?
  10. I just got an Amplifi TT recently and set up the Amplifi Remote app installed on an old android phone I had laying around. But its a small screen and I am thinking about getting a device with a larger screen like the Amazon FireHD 10" tablet. I read up on it and it is sort of Amazon specific implementation of Android and does not even come with the Google App Store (to download Amplifi Remote). However, watching YouTube videos it appears pretty easy to add Google App Store to the Fire HD. Still, I am concerned there may be issues with the setup because who knows what Amazon might have done to the Android operating system. Has anybody ran this type of a setup with good results?
  11. OK, so I am going to buy a used Amplifi TT for 100 bucks, even after reading this thread on constant bluetooth connection issues. I really like the idea of what this unit does - built in consumer level outputs to connect to home stereo or powered speakers, remote control app for ipad, tone matching presets for songs you are trying to play, FX, cab sim, audio interface, etc. I have nothing right now except guitar and tube amp and for 100 bucks this gets me a lot to play and learn with and will take a chance on having issues with it. Even if the bluetooth does not work, still interested in all the rest of the features it has. Will report back after I have used it a while.
