Hi I am here with the same problem, I think now its impossible for me to rollback to 1.71, line 6 just walked away from the Variax users, line 6 monkey obsolete now, the line 6 central doesnt appear to see anything. Disgrace line 6. I also have a Helix that wont connect to PC, service centre tells me it needs in/out board '@ £400 plus installation, more than the unit that never left studio is now worth. Its time for me to walk away from line 6.

Hi , Need help, Helix won't connect to HX edit, swapped USB leads into rear port on pc, all latest drivers and software installed, USB port not broken. Tried on laptop also, still won't connect.

Is it possible now to rollback firmware in JTV 69 to 1.71 firmware, i know thats very old firmware but acoustic guitars sounded the best on 1.71. I cant even seem to get monkey working on windows 10 to start with. Any tips where to start.

Yes psarkissian, ive have had this variax quite a long time and have reflashed it a few times, this one was from v 1.71 to latest

Hi everyone , was updating my variax jtv 69 to latest firmware,but forgot to have volume turned up, and guitar went to sleep half way tru update and red light came on in usb interface and error message appeared, so I tried it again and this time it said update successful and showed latest firmware, however none of the modelling now works, did I damage the electronics?

I would guess the jtv 69 has latest firmware installed ,where in my opinion acoustics sound worse.You can reflash jtv back to version 1.71 and it will sound the same as your old 700. You can change it back again if you wish.
