  1. Hello! I play bass in a covers band and I have been using AI to generate presets where I can't make what I want. Results are pretty good but takes a few mins to get in to the system I asked chatGPT to then give me the .pgp file which it did, but when I try to import it says target is incompatible. Has anyone tried and got round this? Thanks
  2. Hello - thank you in advance for any help! A quick potted history - I started playing the bass just over two years ago and put a lot of time into it eventually getting myself in to a band who have just begun gigging. I bought a 6 string in Jan 23 and a Pod Go hoping to get myself proficient and then using the Pod Go for both bass and 6 string. Forward to today...we have gigs lined up, I have an Ashdown RM-C115T-500 EVO II Combo. So I got started with the Pod Go last year, downloaded a lot of bass presets but I have to be honest I'm not yet sure what I'm doing. I understand how useful it is with a 6 string but I just need a bit of a point in the right direction...be it videos or guides or even a video call I understand that not all PA systems can cope with bass frequencies so would be looking to set presets without cabs/amps to give me a selection of tones I could go through during gigs (song dependent) and learn how to make these myself. If there's anything else I need to know please do feel free to point it this way...I've learned to play the bass but I don't really understand some of the basics of how to set your pedals up etc All help gratefully received! Thanks Andrew
  3. Hello apologies for this as my knowledge is pretty limited - I want to use my Pod Go for bass to go through a PA for gigs and rehearsal rooms - what process do I have to go through to make this happen...I'm really not too sure what I'm doing with it :|
  4. Hello - apologies for dredging up an old post - but did you get yourself a good set of bass presets?
  5. Hello I could also do with the same - ultra basic guide for those who don't understand the technicalities yet! Did you ever find anything suitable?
  6. Hello - I've been struggling for bass tones - what do you do to find them?
  7. Hi, Apologies in advance for this because a lot of this is going to be quite simple I just don't always know what I'm doing and I don't know much of the technical stuff (yet). So I've been playing the bass for about a year, I play with a Jam Band locally and also record online with a friend of mine (via garageband) for which I currently use a Focusrite Scarlet Decided to treat myself to a POD Go at xmas to spice up my bass tones a bit and also with a view to learning 6 string this year and giving that a bit of oomph too! I have got it up and running, managed to load a presets to it from customtone downloads and can do some of the basics now. Questions are as follows 1. I had been plugging my iphone in to my focusrite and through headphones then been able to play music over the top or use Jamzone...what do I need to plug in where to achieve the same thing? I was also doing the same thing to record and was hoping to phase out the focusrite 2. I don't yet have the skills or ear to make my own presets so will just be downloading for the time being. There doesn't seem to be a huge amount of bass specific ones on customtone which I understand - are there any other resources i can use before i work out how to make them myself? 3. Is there any set way of producing a preset? i.e. if i want to get something sounding authentic for the Jam Band can i use an online resource to somehow get something close to original bass sound? Sorry if these are pretty basic questions, I have been trawling the net where I can for answers but sometimes it's not all that obvious to me! Thanks in advance
