  1. Hi! I'm about to sell my trusty 500x. Haven't used it so much since I bought the Helix. The HD Pack-addon I bought, is that now a part of the 500x or is it part of my account here at Line 6? Does it follow the unit so that when the buyer connects with computer it will still be available for him? I hope you understand my question. Best regards Olle
  2. I'm not sure. Played it off and on today during a couple of hours and no sign of the problem. All good. Don't know what that means. Let us know how it goes for you and I will also write here if there is any change.
  3. Yes you might be right. I thought there perhaps could be some interference with the digital stuff. I'll do that, thanks for the advice!
  4. Ok, so I found the problem. If I press the toneknob a little sideways the volume comes back to normal. Would it be ok to test if a little electronic cleaner/contact spray can fix it?
  5. I have tried both vdi and regular guitar cable with and without the battery but with the same result. Yes, it's usually the modeling or just one or two strings that causes problem. I got that on an old 300 but a JTV that is about 2 years old?
  6. Hi! All of a sudden there's almost no output from the magnetic pickups in my JTV69s. Around 10% of the volume of the simulated Strat (and all other too). Anyone know what has happened or maybe had the same problem?
  7. I got a Yamaha Stagepass 600i PA-system and my trusty old HD500x. Thinking of getting a Helix and some sort of "amp"/monitor that can serve both as monitor for my PA and as a stand alone guitaramp with the Helix. Yamaha dbr10 or dxr10 should have the benefit of producing the exact sound from the PA (which is what I want) and also suit the Helix very well. But I have GAS for the FH1500! Do you guys and gals think that the FH's sound would differ much from the Yamaha monitors? Anyone maybe tested them both?
  8. Thinking of getting a FH1500 but like to know a bit more about it first. One thing very few mentions is the looper so your input is very good. What's the length of the looper and why do you think it's so bad?
  9. A firmware upgrade of the FBVë was the answer.
  10. Hi! I hope someone got some answer to my newest problem. I just got the FBV3 to go with my Spider Jam. The problem is that the FBV3 display only shows the name of the patch that was selected when i turned the amp off the last time. When I change patch the new patchnumber shows but the name doesn't change. Anyone got a clue our maybe have the same issue? Best regards //Olle

  12. Aah, that makes sense - or rather not. Coming from Rolandgear (VG88 and VG99) where I used forced tuning and guitarmodel all the time in combination with all controls possible, this feels a bit limiting. On the other hand I'm too much in to creating patches that will cover everything. So this could be the start of making sounds that cover only one specific sound and then I have to learn to step on another patch. At least til Line6 fixes this. Many thanks for your replies! Olle
  13. First of all many thanks for your reply! You're totally right in that it only applies to the modeled guitars and it works as a charm but I've noticed that there is some strange things going on. At least I think it's strange. If I change guitar model or even the pickupposition when the toneknob is off then the new selection has it's tone off to, like in regular use (you know, duller jazzsound). If I change model with the toneknob at 100% the tone is, well, at a 100% as supposed to. In other words, the toneknob seem to work as a regular toneknob when changing models. And I would really like to be able to do that. Is there maybe something I'm missing there too or is it a bug in the software?
