TheRealZap's post in New high gain models for JTV-69 & JTV-69s was marked as the answer
you can download a high gain model pack of the JTV89's onboard pickups here: http://line6.com/getrelease?rid=5634
you'll need to use workbench HD to load it, and it will take over one of your banks... typically custom 1 i believe... but you can set it up anywhere.

TheRealZap's post in Pod Farm Free (1 or 2.5) and Metal Shop was marked as the answer
you can use the model pack with either.... 1 or 2
BUT the model pack will not work without a full license... as in no.. it wont work with the free version of pod farm.

TheRealZap's post in Newbe to Line 6 and making $$ mistakes was marked as the answer
they will work together fine...
you just cant use the MKI pedal to update the amp... or connect to a computer...
but the buttons will pretty much do what they are labeled to do...
the footboard is just a controller...
read and learn the manual for the amp... and the floorboard will be very easy and obvious.

TheRealZap's post in Model Pack License Question was marked as the answer
it's not confirmed at this point... but it is widely assumed that they will follow the existing licensing scheme they use for the older model packs....
which means up to 4 devices....
but we won't be certain until release.

TheRealZap's post in DT50 update through HD400 was marked as the answer
1. no
2. no
3. there are some L6Link and configuration settings in the update.... the primary benefit of the update is for using the DT amps standalone. you will be fine without it... not much difference... but it's easy and free... you should get it.
4. with the update you can set the NFL seperately from the preamp (standalone)

TheRealZap's post in pod hd pro x - using workbench as channel insert was marked as the answer
there are no distortion or effects in workbench... i think you mean the pod edit program, and the answer is no.
-
TheRealZap's post in DT edit and L6link was marked as the answer
no, you can change those settings in pod edit and it will send whatever you want....
but nothing you do in dt edit will affect operation over L6LINK

TheRealZap's post in can't update firmware on my brand new (used) DT50-115 was marked as the answer
yes you want the update. the update fixes a wrong configuration with the boost tube on the AC30 model....
adds a few behind the scenes fixes for L6Link (switches better, less pop, etc)
and allows you to use the reverb on the DT amp, and save the DSP on the pod....
that can open up alot more tone options.
the m-audio uno is the most notably reliable interface to do the update...
BUT... the midi on your interface can possibly work.
should be as simple as opening monkey and telling it to change device since it will probably have the pod selected.

TheRealZap's post in Variax + POD HD 500X + need help with amp. was marked as the answer
the DT amps change far more than amp channels.. it has relays and changes the physical operation of the amp itself internally... the power amp in fact... is not modeled at all! the closest you can get is just to go into the spider on the effects loop return and just use the full pod models... then you won't need to exercise any specific controls...

TheRealZap's post in JT59 not recognised by Workbench was marked as the answer
both lights will be green on the interface before the computer will see it...
sounds like a problem between your interface and your guitar...
try a different cable... just a standard cat5 network/ethernet cable

TheRealZap's post in POD XT Live as a MIDI controller on POD Farm/UX2 was marked as the answer

-
TheRealZap's post in Line 6 EDIT - Logo starts, no program launch (win 7) was marked as the answer
uninstall java and edit... reinstall edit.. it should get the version of java it wants...
not sure if that will 100% work, but that worked for others.

TheRealZap's post in amplifi TT, does it support Spotify? was marked as the answer
it will only use it's own amplifi software for tone matching... although you can play along with whatever you want... for tone matching through the amplifi app you need to have the file downloaded on your device, so something like spotify is not practical.
-
TheRealZap's post in no sound on POD Farm 2.5 Mac was marked as the answer
you need to create an aggregate device on your mac, that has the input and output you want... and then select that.
you'll have to google mac aggregate audio or similar for instructions.

TheRealZap's post in Workbench crashes consistantly. was marked as the answer
you have to use BOTH...
without 1/4" plugged in (doesnt have to have anything on the amp end!)
the guitar will not power on... and thus.. not work.

TheRealZap's post in Installation froze was marked as the answer
ahhh... then you probably have UAC enabled....
go to the start menu type UAC
hit enter...
put slider at the lowest setting...
reboot...
try again.
this will disable the UAC (user access control) which is prompting you...
you can return to the UAC screen and turn it back on after the fact... (i wouldn't bother...)
