  1. So here's the response: "There should be a way to send a file and save it on the phone, and then call it up and load it. The issue is, when you save a preset to the phone, it is stored in a specifically place on the phone. Unfortunately, the app is designed to only look in one place for the presets, and unless the preset you sent over is stored in that folder, then the phone will not see. I am going to dig into this a bit more, because it seems like there would be a way to do that." So I asked "What folder are the presets saved in on the phone? If I had that, I could just move the ones I downloaded there." Response: "Yeah I know. I was actually looking through my phone to see if I could find the ones on my phone." Then the ticket was closed. LOL
  2. So, I opened a support ticket and the response I got was, "There is really no way to load those with the phone app. You would have to load them on the amp first with the computer version." What I was told was to download the tones from the web with a PC then, use the Edit app to save those tones to the amp in one of it's 16 slots then, use the buttons on the amp to select the different tones. They said, "The app is really so you can edit a preset easier in a pinch.". I guess that makes sense but, don't advertise is as "Download presets from the web and send them to your amp" if you can't do that.
  3. I wouldn't say the Spark sounds better. It's just easier to download tones. Plus it's bluetooth. I didn't have to go out and buy essentially an old printer cable for my phone.
  4. I opened a support ticket. Let's see what happens. On another note, it's also an issue on Android.
  5. I know this is an old topic but, I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to this. I've downloaded the tones on my PC I used Google drive to get them to my iPhone When I go to "load preset" in the catalyst app, it doesn't allow me to select a folder. Does anybody know what folder the tones are save in on a iPhone? It shouldn't be this difficult to get this feature to work. Especially since "Hey, look at all the cool things you can do with our custom app" is one of their big selling points.
  6. I guess using one drive to get them from my PC to the phone would work. Just using my Spark 40 is easier. You can download the tones right in the app.
  7. How do i download tone presets in the edit app on an iPhone? The only information I could find says in the edit app "click the "Get Tone" button". What button is the get tone button? If I go to the the tone webpage on my phone, the download icons for the tones don't work. Everything is fine if I use my PC.
