  1. no but it works the same for a warmoth neck to an ibanez 24 fret body
  2. I believe the real pickups are standard, and can be switched out with any after market pickups, but there are other wires in the guitar and if you hit a ribbon cable with a hot soldering iron you will most likely have a problem. If you are not very comfortable, doing the soldering in close quarters I would not attempt it. On the other hand many pro guitar techs have the experience and confidence, and will probably do the install at under 100 bucks for just one pickup.
  3. I have had to modify a 24 fret from warmoth and glue in a spacer and round the edges using a tele neck pocket template and it worked just fine. it was able to intonate to the 24th fret using a peterson strob tuner. but I had to reshape the neck heel so that it was not so blocky and that was the largest time of the repair. As far as the holes get it undrilled and prees in ito the pocket and mark for the new screw holes.
  4. I think there will be a delay in any new products as the corporate system tend to slow innovation as the bureaucracy gets more complex. But they should have access to some very talented synth engineers which could be good or very very bad.
