Thank you all for suggestions and answers.
I have purchased some iRs from Ownhammer and MLSound lab, trying to experiment with these to get better sounds. It is about 50% better then with stock cabs but whatever I do, the sound is still plastic, synthetic, dinamics are bad and that feeling when playing is very artificial. This is my entry to digital world (own and play H&K, Peavey and Messa tube amps for past 20 years) and now it is hard to be satisfied with something artificial. On the other hand, it is really easier to dial tones for home recordings with Helix and Helix native, just need to figure out how to get that "better tone" for recording raw tracks. It is always easier to mix it later if you initially have a good tone.
I did have HD500 (still have it somewhere) and it did well on live gigs when needed a backup but for some reason I cannot make Helix sound better then that. Maybe it is just my incompetence with this device, that is why I wanted to ask if someone can re-create the tone so I can see what I am doing wrong.
I have tested hundreds of patches from customtone library but almost all of it sound weak on studio monitors. Guess, I'll have to keep trying :-/
