  1. And to answer this, I meant a Loop Pedal that has footswitchable loops, as I tend to go direct to the amp, instead of going directly into the Helix first. If you go direct;y into the Helix first, you dont really need this Loop Pedal, as others mentioned.
  2. Maybe this is what you are looking for, attached is a diagram I have of the connections using only the Helix. You could use your Amps PreAmp with the Helix's SEND/RETURN 2 and toggle between the VOX Preamp Model.
  3. You could use a Send Block right before the output and have the option to send the signal to XLR or one of the 1/4 sends.
  4. We can do this using a switcher, in my case a Boss ES-5, but any loop pedal will work. I run from guitar into the switcher, then in loop 1 I put the amp's preamp by going into the INPUT of the amp and out the EFFECTS SEND back to the switcher. Then in a subsequent loop, I go into the Helix and back to the switcher. Then from the switcher to the Effects Return on the amp and out to the cab. Works great and gives our one-channel amps lots of possibilities: Amp -> CAB Amp -> Helix Effect -> CAB Helix -> CAB Hope that helps.
  5. Its pretty ridiculous, and doesn't reflect well on the Line 6 programmers.
  6. FYI: Ad-Block takes care of that Black Bar...
  7. Perfect, thanks for the response. I do have a Behringer Direct Box, would that work between the Amp Head Out and the Helix? https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/GI100
  8. Hi All: I want to use an Amp Head with the Helix, and use the effects in the Helix in the Amp Head effects loop, and then use the cab IR in the Helix, like so: Guitar into Helix Helix Send1 into Front of Amp Head Helix Return 1 from Amp Head Effects loop SEND Helix Send 2 into Amp Head Effects RETURN Helix Return 2 from Amp Head Output (Speaker Out) Any problem using the amp head this way (without load box)? I wouldn't need a 1/4" 'speaker cable' back into the Helix from the Amp Head's output, just a regular 1/4", correct?
