thanks, I did not remember that updater was installed with HX edit. I was opening up Updater and it said it was out of date so I downloaded it, I did not even open HX edit to see that it was out of date.

I am embarrassed to admit that I cannot figure out how to install updater. I have my Smartscreen off, downloaded the it....then what? I have a zip file that I unzipped but I see no file to run to do the install.

I opened a support ticket to get my mode switch fixed, L6 sent a next day air UPS pickup, 7 days later I got it back all fixed up, awesome support!!!!

I had a foot switch go bad on my Helix, it was the mode switch. I first noticed it when it took a couple clicks to get it to switch, then it just got worse and worse. if I twisted the top of it a little it work for a few more clicks then just go bad again. I started a support ticket with L6 and the next day they had UPS at my door with a next day air pickup. I sent it back on a Thursday and got it back Friday of the next week all fixed! they didn't even mess with my presets, totally awesome service!

I just started having issues with one switch on my Helix. Mine is the Mode switch, it takes several tries to get it to switch. This was my biggest fear buying a Line 6 product because I have had so many switch issues from their products. To be a little fair I have had other effect pedals have switches go bad, but what makes it so hard with Line 6 stuff is that they are not just standard foot switches that can be serviced on the road with just a screw driver and solder iron. Now I have to figure out how to send this thing in for service and be without it for who knows how long, and since I use this thing for my job several days a week I am not sure how I am going to make that happen, besides I just threw away the box because I did not room to keep it, stupid me.
