  1. OK... I'm back with an update. There nothing wrong with the Pitch Wham. It was user error! I just did not isolate my guitar enough to stop the interaction of my speaker/monitors to cause me to mistake the guitar output from the Stadium. Using Headphones and a little more volume (speakers) solved the mystery. Under normal circumstances, I would be playing a lot louder that when in my studio . . . Boy Who Cried Wolf
  2. @Nos402Hmmm... I had no notification that the tread was "deleted". In any case ... we both had our problems solved. Could I be so bold to suggest next time, just update the post and if someone else has the same problem, they could benefit from what you posted. Syphus
  3. Earlier today I responded to a topic that was about problems with the installing the new update. That topic is now gone??? Very Strange . . . But moving on: I ran my update over the WIFI and the update stopped at the "Helix Stadium XL" screen and did nothing at that point. I waited for almost 1.5 hours for something to happen. Send a support ticket because I did not want to brick the unit. Realized that it could be days before I got a response, so I turned off the Stadium and turned it back on again. To my surprise (and joy) the unit came up with the 1.2 version installed. So anyone getting stuck at the last screen (the " >< HELIX Stadium XL") I would suggest you give that a try. I think the only bad result is you may have to reinstall you last backup. I really don't know if that would be the result - but this is what happened to me. Hope this helps someone. I'd also like to know hat happened to the post I responded to??? Syphus
  4. What happened to your post about the new firmware download?  It seems to have vanished....

If I remember correctly . . I think your error message was what you get if you are not logged in on the stadium.  I found that bit of info under the FAQs

  5. I have a few that I like the setup and block flow . . . these will come over and tweaked for stadium (plus some IRs) - mostly will build my own plus do the hybrid thing with ToneX . . . Syphus
  6. I developed the same type of problem (no auto-connect) after having the unit for a week with no connect problem. I reinstalled "Helix Stadium" and that did nothing for me. I ended up rebooting my computer and that seemed to work . . . (cross fingers). Additional Info: After working correctly for a few days, I had to reboot once more to get Stadium Edit to find unit over WIFI. It seems to be random - don't know if it is my computer or the Stadium at this point. I have another computer that I can use, but it is loaned out at the moment. Once i get it back I will recheck with that computer Syphus
  7. I can share the preset - but for now I want to do more work on this before I sound like I'm crying "wolf". Tomorrow I will spend more time on this . . . I was quite satisfied with effect block on the OG helix for doing "half step" tuning drop . . . Not so much on the Stadium. I was just curious if anyone else had noticed a difference. I will be setting up a better testing situation tomorrow.
  8. I transferred a preset fro Helix OG to the Stadium and for the most part it went smoothly (my simple EQ got substituted with the 7 band). When I was testing out the patch, I noticed that my "Pitch Wham" block was getting artifacts. The block is set to be a half step down and it seams to work on the lower freqs but as you run higher there appears to be "other" harmonic freqs being generated (not very musical). The block is not working as it should (maybe they change it) - I actually used head phones to tune this (drop pitch) Using both the "pitch wham" and the "poly capo" and they both seem to have the high freq artifact. I'm posting this so if anyone else notices this please add your experience here to document. I going to wait a bit before creating a support ticket. Syphus
