  1. I kind of thought so based on the manual. That is a bummer and significant functionality reducer in my book.
  2. I use my M5 in a rack and switch presets with a MIDI controller. Is there a way to get the M5 to start in preset mode at power-on? That would save me from having to change it every time I turn it on. Thanks.
  3. Yes. The DT series are good, but for an entirely different use case. If I were looking to replace my main gigging amp and didn't care about cost or portability, I might consider one. It would be going up against a Mesa Mark V, though, and would likely lose. What I want is a good sounding, light, and reasonably priced amp that I can rehearse with. I would love to have most of my effects built in and control it the same way I do my main rig (via FBV) so it's all second nature come showtime. I think there is a good market for that kind of product and I for one would be an eager customer.
  4. I certainly don't expect it to sound as good. I've spent many thousands on my main rig. The key is for the B rig to be light and portable and resemble the A rig in terms of floor controls so I can rehearse with one and gig with the other. I suppose a Spider could do that, but I played one the other day and the sound was just really bad. I hope they either get their act together with the Amplifi or come out with a Spider V series that has the POD HD as its core.
  5. Sad and a bit infuriating. Fender Mustang it is. I had also thought about a POD HD 500 and a Tech 21 for a B rig. That would let me share patches with my PRO. The problem is it's just too much coin for a B rig setup. I suppose that is what I'll have to do if the Mustang III is as bad as I think it might be. I use a Mesa amp in my A rig and I'm more than skeptical that Fender can get close.
  6. Just one last ditch effort to try and be able to buy an AMPLIFI 150. Is there a way to get Line 6 Monkey to work with an AMPLIFI? If so, damn the IOS features, I'll use an FBV. I can still return my Fender Mustang III and would in a heartbeat if I can use Line 6 Monkey to edit the patches on this. Here's hoping for a positive answer.
  7. OK. No Android app. Whatever. But with the strong base of POD Farm and L6 Monkey, there is NO EXCUSE for a lack of PC based editor. I AM FURIOUS THAT I HAD TO BUY A FENDER MUSTANG III TODAY!!! I simply had no choice. I need a B rig. I cannot drag my A rig amp, rack, and floor gear all over the place anymore. I need something portable. Then I only have to break my back on gig days. I like Line 6 stuff. I own a POD HD Pro X, a Relay G90, FBV Shortboard, and lots of other retired stuff in the closet. But now I have no way to continue with this company. The Spider IVs are too old. I wanted an Amplifi 150, but am not going to go buy an iPad so I can use one. This sucks. I hope the Fender works OK.
  8. I am about ready to buy one of these. I will put it in my rack pedal tray and switch it in and out with a RJM. My question is, will it work like a normal stompbox? When power is applied, I need it to power on and have the most recently saved effect engaged? I don't care if this is default behavior as long as I can get it set up like that. This way I can set it for a particular function I need, put it on my rack pedal tray and then forget about it until I need to change it. I do not want to have to worry about setting up MIDI to engage it. I will just switch it in and out with a RJM switcher. If this is not available by default is there a way to sysex or monkey a "Rack Mode" into this device?
