  1. Trying to get in to the factory reset, I got in to the "test mode" and got this message Is my amp damaged or something?
  2. Having the same problem, (maybe the mods can delete my other post about this subject) But still haven't figured it out yet. I´ve tried the update, re-installing the app and "forgetting" the device a couple of times, nothing works. I even tried installing an older flash memory. I can connect the device via bluetooth (I can play music on the 1500 within the remote app or from iTunes) but keep getting the "Device Not Connected" message. Hope somebody can help
  3. I just got the 1500 this week and so fan I'm really impressed with it, but a really weird thing happened today. It worked perfectly the first day, I did the amp update and still worked fine for a whole day, but this morning the remote app didn't recognized the device (I got the "no device connected" message on the app) , even though the Bluetooth was enabled and working. I was able to listen to my iTunes music on the amp, but not able to connect the device and do any amp editing. I tried forgetting the device on my phone's Bluetooth menu, and also tried re-installing the app a couple of times, but nothing worked. There's no update on the phone or anything, so I really have no idea what else to try
  4. Thanks for the reply. The sound drop you get is on the whole amp itself, or is just some parts of your setup? (Meaning, maybe the guitar keeps working but the vocals drops or something like that?). I'm about to pull the trigger and get the amp, since the guitar tone alone is worth it IMO, but it would be fantastic if it can also work as a all-in-one sound solution. Once I get mine I will try some thing out and report back :-)
  5. Sorry to revive this old topic, but I´m thinking about making the same move. Currently I play with a Boss GP-10 (for guitar modeling and alt tunings only) through a TC Voicelive 3 extreme. Vocal signal goes to powered speakers and guitar signal to a Fender Champ 100, but besides having the extra gear to carry, I would love to improve on the guitar sound, and the Firehawk 1500 looks like the perfect solution. I sing and play lead guitar and the rest are backing tracks, would I be able to run the backing tracks and the vocal signal (harmonies and all) through the 1500?
  6. I see, you mean like unplug and plug back again the connectors on the inside of the JTV? Let me give it a try :-). Thanks a lot for all the help guys
  7. Thats exactly the way it looks, the JTV is the default option on every preset
  8. I see, so the fact that the guitar is powered on, doesn't necessarily means that it should be sending audio signal, right?
  9. Sadly that´s not it. I´ve already tried to change the instrument on the mixer but still no results. The weird thing is that the 700 still works when the JTV is selected on the mixer. With the 700 plugged in, no matter what guitar is selected on the mixer, I get sound on the amp. If the JTV is selected, I can't change any options on the guitar. Once I switch to the 700 on the mixer, I´m able to select guitar models and such. With the JTV plugged, there´s nothing. No matter what model is selected on the mixer, there´s no sound. The only way it has worked, is plugging the variax cord on the guitar to get power (without the guitar battery inserted), and at the same time plugging the guitar cord in to the 500X guitar in. No way to control the guitar setting with the patch, even though the HD500x it´s powering the JTV.
  10. Hi guys, I'm about to pull the trigger and get a new HD500x, since my HD500 is damaged. The guys at the local store let me take it home to make some tests. The thing is, I own 2 variax guitars, a Variax 700 and a JTV 59. The 700 worked fine with the HD500, but I didn't have the chance to try out the JVT on it since I bought it right after the HD500 died on me. The 700 worked perfectly on the HD500x, just plug it and play, no problems. I was able to change the variax model for each preset and so...But the JTV is another story. I'm getting the white dimmed light on once I push down on the the selector switch, so I know there's communication between the guitar and the device, but that's it. No sound, the tuner doesn't work, no matter wath patch I'm in to, and no matter how many adjustments I do on each path (like selecting the variax only input, both guitar and variax, set it go global, etc) I'm using the same variax cable for both, and the JTV does connect once I open the workbench software. Is there's something I'm missing on the setup?
