I'm trying to record into Logic pro X with POD HD500X and can't get a visible signal into Logic.

I have the POD HD500X on a Mac. Using Logic Pro X and need to know what kind of cable I need to run from the back of my Mac where the 1/8 in stereo cable goes in. So I need to know what kind of cable I need for my POD HD500X to record into Logic. Thanks

Can I enlarge the interface window of HD500X Edit?

What extension or changes do I need to load a 500 patch to a 500X? Thanks

Thanks for the tips. It will be a huge challenge just learning Logic Pro. I'm an old timer and haven't played seriously in a band in years except for a few number at my daughter wedding a few years back. But I had so much wine in me I was missing chord changes. Every one said it was great I thought it was horrid.

Thanks for the speedy reply. It looks like using the Looper functions are not accessable thru the app. I hope I can use Logic Pro with this? I also hope I have enough processing power with my old Mac Pro 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon 12 GB RAM

If I'm just using my POD at home what is the down side of useing POD HD500X Edit software insted of the tiny screen on the HD500X. I talked to a tech at Line six and he said you have to save more often with the soft ware than if you just use what's on the screen of the POD. I'm on a Mac with latest Mavericks OS and 12GB ram. Yes I need direction on how to build a 3 or 4 foot stand for my 500X. Reason is I live in New Mexico and will only be using this in house. Setting it down on the carpet with all the static electricity here in this dry state may compromize the components. There's enough static here that if you could capture it you could powere then entire state of Texas.

I'm about to purchase the HD500X. I'm a freelance graphic designer and have a Mac Pro 2.66 GHx Quad-Core with 12 GB RAM and 1TB External Hard Drive. I want to use it with Logic Pro X just play in house nothing live.
