I like the blog entry simply because it affirms the issue with strumming. I'm a percussive rhythm player when it comes to acoustic and I had hoped to utilize the JTV for that. It just simply does not work for me. The electric sounds are phenomenal and I use them a lot. It would be nice if they figured out a way to get a good modeled strum without having to use the lightest touch ever.

A picture of a broken record is completely the wrong response. These forums exist for us to have a voice to a company we have purchased from and continue to support and get excited about. Fanboys who get their little feelings hurt when we complain are not helpful to the conversation. Similarly, our complaints are useless if we're being hateful. So to try and actually be productive here - let me say it this way... I totally dig my JTV and lots of other Line 6 products I have purchased over the years. I have so much faith in L6 (they've raised their own standards...that's a good thing), that I think they can do much better when it comes to acoustic modeling and I would love for them to hear my voice in asking that they keep trying to do just that.

Ideally, they'd keep those then load a few more options we could select from Monkey. Why just have three?

I would love to hear some good samples out of the dread model. Mine sounds tinny and thin and I'm playing out of a great Countryman DI and full range studio speakers with a sub. I can get the jumbo sounding decent, especially when finger picking. But strumming with a pick sounds bad on all models. Is there some tweaking I can do? P.S. - these new forums look great on mobile!

Do you mean the 'upgraded' models on v1.9? The Jumbo is the only usable one in the whole bunch - and I'm reiterating that from many online posters here, not just my personal opinion. There's really only three models and none have adjustments for EQ/compression/etc within the Workbench.

I haven't been around in a while, but it sure is refreshing to see some Line 6 reps responding here about V2.0. Can you comment on whether the acoustic models are being tweaked and/or added? I would really like this thing to have better acoustic models, especially when using a pick.
