  1. Yes I totally understand this, each device has its own channel from using the GSC-4, it was more that the Bigsky wouldn't operate correctly when assigned to channel 1 which I thought was a little odd.
  2. I’m sure this information may seem irrelevant for some but I thought I would share in case it helps someone else in the future as I had a couple of frustrating days getting things working how I wanted. As I’ve sold off nearly all my pedals I was hoping to use my LT to control a GT 1000 core and Bigsky and retire my G-lab GSC-4. All items worked fine together with the G-lab previously.,so I was confident the helix could the basic commands I would be looking for. i followed a couple of useful videos on command centre and the GT was fine but the behaviour of the Bigsky was erratic and didnt match the commands selected instead partially following the commands of the GT core. I checked all of my commands and midi settings on all devices multiple times without luck UNTIL … I changed my Bigskys midi channel from 1 to 2. I have no idea how this is possible but everything works as expected now so happy days. If anyone has an answer as to this strange phenomenon I would be curious to know. Cheers
  3. I own both minus the amp gizmo and believe it's possible via 4 cable method . Something to try out tonight
  4. I have recently been trying my pedalboard with the LT . I have a mini TS, ZW overdrive,MI Audio SCB and a Carl Martin Plexitone drive pedals connected to a a G-LAB GSC-4 Midi switcher. The Minotaur and tubescreamer in the helix are superb and if I didn't have any other pedals I could totally get by no dramas. But for distortions I prefer the MIAB varieties I have into the US Deluxe
  5. Hi there folks first time poster here with my impressions on helix LT intergrated with my pedalboard. First of all the helix really is a great piece of kit on it's own , but i only finished building a my dream pedalboard at christmas and bought the LT in February so it has had very limited use. This board is controlled by the G LAB GSC-4 switcher and G LAB ML-4 4xloop extension giving me 10 loops and MIDI control over DD-500,EHX Holiest Grail and Mooer Ocean Machine.Curiosity on how these two would work together got the better of me so i thought with MIDI implementation i could remotely control the board whilst using using some simple presets/snapshots.Well i'm pleased to say i got some great tones but i hit a snag when using the commands to switch presets on the board. No matter what i tried regarding settings on both devices, i could not for the life of me get the controller to recognise the instant commands and it would revert to 1 of 2 random bank/presets.Fast forward another day and a bit , and i remembered a similar issue i had controlling a Boss GT-5 via MIDI which only responded correctly when its MIDI channel was set to OMNI mode only not matching on each device as per normal.Thankfully this solved my probl;em and i can now enjoy the best of both worlds.Just thought i would share my experience in case it might help someone else in the future.Great forum, keep up the good work !!!!
