    hey! lurker, first time poster, HX Stomp owner and i love it. being a n00b with midi, i bought a very well-priced controller off Reverb, but i'm SO confused as to how to use it or if it's even usable. this would be a Disaster Area DMC-6D, which is the previous gen of DA controllers. i was under the impression that midi was universal, but the Stomp won't recognize the DMC in 'Learn' mode while i'm trying to set up a bypass on one of my blocks. tried updating the firmware on the controller, having issues with that, too. anyone willing to walk me through this? or at least point me towards a thread that has some better info. do i need to sell this thing and get a different controller?
