HXStomp XL 3.15 - I get a trigger for 'next snapshot' on both press and release of an external footswitch FS8 if I link the function 'snapshot up' to FS8 function through global settings. If I do this within a preset via the command center I can choose 'press and hold' and then press works as expected and gives next snapshot and I also can use the hold function for something else. But I do not want to set this manually in each and every preset again, I would like it to be set globally, as that is what I bought the footswitch for. Is there a way to set FS7 and FS8 globally to 'press and hold'? Or is there any other global solution? If not, then it would maybe be nice to add this choice to the FS7/8 assignment global menu in a next update? Cheers, Chris -
I have an HX Effects and I'm looking for a way to use one expression pedal to control both wah and whammy, and to be able to switch between them, without using one of the 6 assignable footswitches (because they are already assigned to other things). I understand now that HX Effects doesn't support an external footswitch (only external pedals) - pity, it would have solved my problem! So I have the following idea - has anyone ever tried it?: - Both wah and whammy in the signal path, both on, assigned to exp pedals 1 and 2. - Using an A/B switch, connect exp pedal 1 output to A and exp pedal 2 output to B. Output from A/B switch to the one expression pedal. Would that work? Any advice welcome!

Is it possible to essentially get "10 stomp mode" on the LT by using an external foot switch through the EXP port? Or will I have to use midi controlling to accomplish that?

Does anyone know if you can add an external footswitch (I'm using a Digitech FS3X) to control effects? For example, I have a looper in my bank, but I rarely use it live. What I wanted to do was have the looper assigned to my FS3X and have it not show on the HX until I press one of the buttons on the FS3X. That way, it doesn't take up 1 of the 6 screens, but when I press the FS3X, it would activate the looper and then give me access to the looper functionality and screens. Basically, I just want an external footswitch to be able to turn the looper screen on and off. Any help?
