ooaykac
Hi. I have Pod Hd 500x and Fender Frontman 212r amp. I hear bad sound from my Fender Frontman 212r when connecting hd 500x to it. I couldn't find to connect hd500x to my amp and get good sound like I heared on youtube videos. There are a few options to connect but which one is good for me? Do I have to set something else on hd500x after connecting? My other amp, Spider IV 75w has better sound when compared to hd 500x and fender Frontman 212r combination. :( Note: You can see Fender Frontman 212r connections in the image at attachment. TheRealZap
just go to the power amp in on the front... none of the controls on your amp will work... you'll be controlling your tone entirely from the pod.
stumblinman
I used one before I bought my DT. Power amp in is the way to go. I used combo/front so I could adjust the high and low frequencies. Start out with all Pod tone knobs on noon when you start building your patches, and see what it sounds like. Change cabs until you find one that gets you closer to the sound you are looking for, and then begin changing your tone stack. Adjusting the master volume and the bias settings in the DEP section will make small differences, but I would wait until you are close to what you want before adjusting them for final touches. It takes time, but you can get great tones with some work. Happy hunting!
