rsp2rsp2rsp2rsp2
greetings people. i just pulled the trigger to have an HD500x shipped to me. i am exclusively an acoustic-electric player. my guitar used a dual source pickup (mic+piezo). and, i process that sound using comp, EQ, modulation delays and other effects (sometimes sounding like U2/edge but on an acoustic. i'd like feed back from HD users on what they did to acheive impressive clean tones. i heard that i should disable the amp modeling and just use EQ and effects. comments? pfsmith0
That's what I do for acoustic instruments. No amp sim at all, just a few FX.
MartinDorr
I make sure my signal level peaks between models do not exceed -12dBFS for anything clean.
