wardenmats
I'm the very new owner of a sonic port VX and have used it for one recording session using audiobus and an iPad Air2. Everything was working great last night, but when I went to listen back, there was no sound. Sonic port VX was plugged into the Lightning connector, and levels were showing a signal, but there is no sound coming out of my headphones. When I unplugged the sonic port, the sound returned. In loving this thing and all the possibilities it offers, but that is what makes this problem all the more frustrating. Cheers.
Triryche
You need to plug you headphones into the SP.
wardenmats
Thanks for the quick reply :) I hope that'll work, but I'm confused as to why it worked plugged into the iPad and then suddenly decided to change overnight. I guess it has me concerned about future stability issues.
Triryche
It becomes your sound device, so all the iPad sounds go thorough the SP. As soon as you unplug then the iPad reverts back to being its own sound device.
wardenmats
That worked! I'm Glad it was something so simple even though it makes me look a little bit simple minded haha. Thanks so much!
Triryche
No prob!! And no simple mindedness, if you're not familiar with audio interfaces, it isn't really that intuitive to many. The question comes up a lot for the PODs.
