Vince007
I am interested in buying à line 6 amplifi 150 because of the diverse guitar amp posibilities(settings) that can be plugged in trough the app. However i was wondering, before buying, if these settings stay in the amplifi 150 if the battery of my iPad/iphone or Android device gets depleted, and / or the Bluetooth link with the amplifi 150 get interrupted while playing... Another question is if i can install software on my pc to do the same as with the app?
Triryche
The AMPLIFi stores 100 presets in the hardware, not the phone/app. In the App any tones you save to "My Tones" are stored in the cloud for your Line6 account (with a local copy on your phone/tablet). Currently there is no PC or Mac editor for the AMPLIFi series.
Vince007
Well, i tried it out in à shop and while it does had 4 presets using à button that changed presets from À to D, with à led that indicated wich setting was used, i could only play with those 4 presets. The Guy in the store showed me the app and showed me that i could let the amplifi150 sound like other guitaramps on the market. He Saïd i needed the app for that... Not tru then? Triryche
The 100 presets (25 X 4) are stored in the amp, you need the app or compatible Line6 floorboard to access the other banks.

Moderato
okay, thanx I don't have one but you can access all the presets on the amp with the Shortboard controller without needing the remote app. http://line6.com/footcontrollers/fbvshortboardmkii.html
