Portentme Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 ive this pedal for years, and tonight i just connected it to laptop and seems its running the current software monkey 6, question is, is there any additional extras i can get out of this pedal without having to buy new products? whats the point of the update? fflbrgst Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Monkey is the updater, so it must have told you that the firmware on the FBV is up-to-date - firmware is the software that makes it do internally. The FBV is only a control pedal - you can use it with a Spider or Ampifi amp or with PodFarm or to control MIDI. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Portentme Posted February 12, 2015 Author Share Posted February 12, 2015 Cool thanks, and yeah it did say it was up to date, I use the pedal with my lowdown combo amp, and have put off for years getting it updated, I just thought that maybe there was some way to download specific sounds into the pedal, but no-big thing, I was just wondering, thanks again.
