Philiom
Feeling really miserable. Something's wrong and can't fix problem. New Amplifi75 registered as is my Line6 account. Amplifi Remote app downloaded onto Ipad5 and connects without difficulty via bluetooth to amp. Music library comes through amp fine but for the life of me I cannot alter any tones of my amp via the remote app. Deleted and reloaded but makes no difference. How I manually set the tones directly on the Amplifi75 is exactly what I hear when I play my Telecaster. I've manually adjusted every option in sight but makes no difference. HELP please.....it may be me missing something important but I'm not aware what. Really appreciate advice from anyone on this. Thanks Phil

Philiom
Thanks Uber, I've carried out those functions and no change to problem. I did misidentify my Ipad....it's a third generation model, not an Ipad 5. I don't suppose that's the problem but it is updated with IOS 8.2. When connected via BT I don't see that fact down the left-hand side list on the app menu? I also don't have access to operate the tuner or the volume shown on the same left hand side list. Within 'settings' "Device Flash" it shows....."Device Flash Version: "NO DEVICE" with a short message underneath stating "Update services not available". All these factors seem to point to something incorrect somewhere. Does all that mean something specific? Thanks Phil
Triryche
The app is not fully synching with the AMPLIFi for some reason. I have seen other users report connectivity issues with iOS 8.2, and one user report that issue was resolved with iOS 8.3 beta (I am not personally suggested that). There is a PC Utility, if you download the drivers and Utility, you may be able to see what the Firmware version it is and/or update. I haven't updated to iOS 8.2 yet, but I will this weekend and see if I have any issues with my FX100 In the meantime I would open a ticket. Philiom
Thanks again. I'll try the PC utility and check the firmware version. Are there separate app's for Ipad or Iphone? I'm beginning to wonder if I might have the wrong one. If the amp firmware does require an update I'll see if I can grab it via a desktop. Grateful for your input....appreciated. Keep you informed when I crack a solution. (presuming there is one!!) Cheers again for taking the time and trouble. Phil
Triryche
The app is the same for iOS 7 and 8 devices.
Philiom
Triryche, Problem solved via our previous discussion and your recommendations. Linked amp to pc via cable and downloaded & installed Line6 Utility. The amp had been supplied with firmware version 1.00. Upgraded to firmware version 2.10 following all easy to understand instructions and once installed on amp it automatically updated the remote app. Now working exactly as it was intended and I must admit to being impressed. Great little piece of software! I'm putting a newly acquired 'Richie Cotzen' signature Telecaster through the system and the results are awesome which is slightly ahead of my skill-factor but hey, who cares! Many thanks again. I'm sure I'm not the only new owner of a '75 tripping across this old firmware issue so it's a simple solution. Hope it all helps somebody else.
