Ashish6
Hi, I'm having issues updating HD500x to the latest fw. All along the USB port is working fine through HDEdit, and I am able to edit patches etc, no issue. Line6 Monkey 1.7 fails to list the unit or any options for HD500x As mentioned in the title, I'm using line6 Monkey v1.7 does not list PodHD500x on MacOSX Yosemite. Have installed drivers 7.3.7. Any help will be great. Thanks!

Ashish6
NO SOLUTION? What sort of forum is this?? This question is a dead duck for 4 days! I had raised a ticket with Line6 also and no reply from them either. Not very encouraging! Can someone in the know point me in the right direction? I want to make it work so - upgrade of the firmware becomes possible - can use it for Recording using through Garageband This is as basic a functionality as it can get. I really the sounds from this unit, but the support system appears poor. Hope this impression is going to change.
leesteel
#1 make sure you have all OSX updates in place. #2 test your USB port with some other device. #3 Uninstall Monkey and reinstall. Make sure Monkey is up to date. #4 Look for my thread titled "follow the bouncing monkey" you might find a clue, compare your own folders. #5 Monkey should prompt you to upgrade USB also. Beyond that, I have nothing else to add. You are asking forum members to speculate you your problems that "they" have not experienced. http://line6.com/support/topic/12949-follow-the-bouncing-monkey/?hl=bouncing+monkey
