Skitterhawk
I'm getting a loud popping sound when I switch between my distortion patch back to my clean patch and it's making me crazy and my fellow band members are ready to dis-member my member. Does anyone have any suggestions are is this part of the firehawk's issues.
mcbeddall
It's part of the issues unfortunately, however we have been told a fix is on the way. In the meantime some users have reported that in some cases if you use the same amp in both the clean and distortion patches the pop is reduced Another thing that helps is if you can set up a patch that does both clean and distortion by toggling a drive pedal on and off
Skitterhawk
Hey Iknowathingortwo, Thanks for the reply and it's good knowing someone is working on it. Yea I've placed a distortion on one of the fx blocks that I could switch on and off from the buttons but it's not as nice as being able to switch the whole patch. Also the second row of buttons could stand to be a little taller so as to not be causing me to tap all the wrong ones around it. I think someone needs to create some snap on caps that would make them a 1/2 inch taller that they are.
mcbeddall
An alternative for making the second row of buttons higher that some of us have used is to swap out the rubber feet at the rear of the firehawk for taller ones
