Hblum01
Is there any preferred sample rate for user IR's for the helix -- i.e. i own a few redwirez and ownhammer ir library products and they offer multiple sampling rates and bit rate -- I have generally used the 24 bit 96khz version -- but what is the highest sample rate the helix would actually use and is there any difference at all in the different sample rates in terms of usable fidelity? duncann
I stick with using 48KHz. I think internally this is the rate Helix processes things. You could use 96KHz, but as to this rate providing higher fidelity, maybe your ears could detect a difference, maybe not, probably not. cabIReu
Helix converts to 48kHz/16bit. So, ... using this format directly (if provided) skip a further file conversion ...http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/effects-controllers/helix/impulse-response-irs-r759Regrads Markus
