Dramey Posted October 22, 2015 Share Posted October 22, 2015 When I send a track back to the Helix it seems to be missing gain. I have to compensate by cranking up the gain in Sonar. Maybe related, is there a way to boost the level to the 7/8 reamp outputs? I like to record fairly hot and I'm not seeing that option. louiewayne Posted January 21, 2016 Share Posted January 21, 2016 I use sonar also, and the USB7 signal is plenty hot for me. The dry guitar signal needs to be at guitar level because you're going to send it back to the 'input' of the Helix. When re-amping the dry signal (USB3-6), I control the gain at the output block of the patch. I usually have to turn it down, rather than up.
