RockDaddyNL
Hello everyone, I have a Firehawk FX on order and expect to receive the unit in approximately a week. In the meantime I'm strolling around the internet and forums to gain as much info as I can. Currently I use an AMT SS-30 with a Line6 M13 and Expression pedal and a Line6 Relay G30 (plus a lot more pedals...) as my base sound, I want to use the Firehawk instead to lighten up my pedalboard and use different AMP/CAB types. I usually do not recreate the exact sounds of all great guitar players out there, but rather use a patch as a generic pedalboard in which I select pedals as needed per song. I have the following in mind: - BANK30 for my Single Coil guitars and - BANK31 for my Humbucker guitars with the main reason to have the overall output levels more or less matched. So my PA sound guy doesn't have to make adjustments during gigs. 30A SC: FUNK (JTM45 Clean + Compressor, Phaser, TubeScreamer, Delay, FX loop solo boost (using a jumper wire)) 30B SC: CLEAN (Blackface Clean + Compressor, Fuzz, Chorus, Delay, FX loop solo boost) 30C SC: CRUNCH (PLEXI + Compressor, Flanger, Chorus, Delay, FX loop solo boost) 30D SC: HIGAIN (Peavey 5150 + Compressor, Pitch changer, Flanger, Delay, FX solo boost)) 31A HB: FUNK 31B HB: CLEAN 31C ... you get the idea... 31D ... In the remote android APP you can arrange your sounds and here you can either turn the pedals ON or OFF in the patch. So when you press the patch for the first time the pedals are in the ON or OFF status as initially set in the APP. Here comes my question: If I turn additional pedals ON or OFF in e.g. patch 30A and move to patch 30C, and then return to patch 30A will the pedals (FS1-FS5) revert to the initially set values, or will they reflect the values I last used in the song? Thanks in advance for your help! Rgds, Iwan www.vanbuitenband.nl
silverhead
Any editing changes you make to a patch are only temporary unless/until you SAVE the changes before changing patches. If you make changes to 30A, and don't save them before moving to 30B, and return later to 30A the switches will be in their last SAVEd state, not their last used state. RockDaddyNL
Great! I was hoping for that answer. That 's how I intend to use the Firehawk FX patches. On patch selection, just the AMP/CAB with Reverb and make my own pedal selections from there on.
