USB to listen to computer

Thank you.  It does work but - using the USB interface - I am getting a lot of "computer noises" when I type, use the mouse, etc.  If I unplug the USB cable these noises disappear.  For now, I'm using the 1/4" out to my amp.  Should it be quiet through the USB?

My intention is to play my guitar through the Firehawk into studio monitors (via XLR cables) and play my computer music/Rocksmith to the same studio monitors.  I may need to purchase a mixer to get this accomplished.

What do you think?

A USB connection often involves noise. Mine do, too. Some are noisier than others. I've never been able to make it go away completely.

You will be able to listen to both devices without a mixer. The Firehawk device becomes the computer's soundcard so all the sound will go through Firehawk to the studio monitors. Ne need for additional cabling/connections while using Firehawk. However, if you want to hear computer sounds without powering up Firehawk you will need to connect your computer audio outputs to the monitors.
