petepraise
Ok I read a lot of posts about getting a good amp sound but it is always to play distorted. I need a good clean sound and I thought I'd found the perfect one on You Tube. The player used Pod pro blackface "totally clean" he said and a bit of reverb. Sounded good to me. So I've recently bought a "dream rig" only as I'm only likely to use distortion when I'm on my own pretending to be a rock star- and we were buying a new PA namely the stagescape - I opted for the L2M also have a 2t available. I read there was no point in owning a tube amp like the DT25 if you only want clean sounds. Now onto my problem: When I go into HD edit and call up a new tone add the Blackface I turn the drive off - for no distortion right? The master volume up at 100 and I get virtually no sound and the little sound there is sounds crap! I'm sure I'm doing something wrong so if anyone has any info or knows somewhere I can go back to school and read about it I would appreciate it. My acoustic seems so much simpler, but I can't have a "Dream Rig" ornament in the studio I want to use it so please help if you can. spaceatl
Actually the Drive is the same control as Volume on a real twin....Dime the Channel Volume and use the drive to set the level....Twins don't have gain bro. IF you get on the DEP page you can get even cleaner by knocking the DEP Master parameter down...Less xover distortion.
