getting fx to appear when the mode button is used

when i create a patch i would like the fx, amps, etc. to appear when i tap the mode button so i can toggle them on and off as needed - i need some help as i can't seem to figure this out - i have examined how the helix factory presets are set up but when i try to do the same i am unsuccessful - if someone could help me with this i would greatly appreciate it

You need to assign the FX to a footswitch. Select the FX using the joystick and then place your finger on the footswitch you want to use to turn it on/off. Don't press the switch down - just touch and hold yr finger there. When the display changes, click YES to assign it.

You need to assign the FX to a footswitch. Select the FX using the joystick and then place your finger on the footswitch you want to use to turn it on/off. Don't press the switch down - just touch and hold yr finger there. When the display changes, click YES to assign it.

 

I usually use the method silverhead describes but another way to do it is to press and hold the Mode button. This will bring up a mode where all the blocks are preassigned to a different footswitch and clicking any one of them will bring up all of the parameters for that block on the footswitches and allow them to be adjusted with the expression pedal.  This is truly the program with your feet mode!
