Is helix edit included in the helix application download?

Hi. My helix is coming next week and I want to install the software now on my computer (Mac).

I'm a little confused.

 

I see that there is a helix application. Now at version 1.11

 

There is also the helix editor to edit patches on my computer.

 

And there is also a line 6 updates.

 

Are all these in the single download?

 

It may be nice to have a sticky to clarify this as well as another sticky where the title says the current versions of the softwares and firmware.

The Helix application version 1.11 is the editor. The file you download is the installer file. Run it to install the app/editor.

 

Then download the installer for the Line 6 Updater program. When you run this installer program you can also install the Helix driver.

 

With the driver and the Updater program installed, you run the Updater program to update the Helix device firmware.

Ok.

I downloaded the helix 1.11.1.dmg file to my Mac.

 

I installed the software.

Now I have a helix app and a line 6 updater app in a line 6 folder.

 

Are there any other apps or software to download?

 

(I think from what you posted its a little different on a Mac)

You're right - the driver I was talking about is for a Wndows machine. I think you're good to go now in the Mac world but someone more familiar with that world can hopefully advise you now.
