roscoe5 Posted May 16, 2016 Share Posted May 16, 2016 I am getting like a ground loop hum in my DAW's depending on Helix IO USB routing. When I set USB 3/4 to be Helix-out>DAW-in and USB 5/6 to be DAW-out>Helix-in, I get a ground loop type hum. When I reverse it with USB 5/6 to be Helix-out>DAW-in and USB 3/4 to be DAW-out>Helix-in, it goes away. The PC and Helix are not on the same receptacle/surge protector-conditioner. Helix is on an isobar strip on a separate outlet, which resolves hum with my amps. Helix is on a USB 2.0 port on my PC. Anyone else encounter this?
