horax
couple of questions that I can't find answers to: 1) when setting the drum vs guitar output level for backing tracks, etc., is there a way to save your settings as a default so the drums are not always at 100% volume? I find that 100% volume really drowns out any guitar output 2) How can you make, for example, a 5 minute song wtihout every part looping over and over? Example: I chose a back beat, recorded rhythm chords for 8 measures. recorded another guitar part for 8 measures. Then I soloed over it...BUT if I choose to record the solo, after the initial 8 measures it loops again and I'm soloing over my recorded solo (if you follow me). How can I either extend the backing tracks to not loop continuously but rather record 8 measures or whatever, and then extend that to be 24 measures so I can have a longer solo session? I may not be the best for this but I'll try to help. As far as I know when I set the drum volume it stays put until I move it again. As for the loop length, if you know about how long your recording is going to be try making a blank (say 5 minute) recording then use that as you base and add to it as needed. This is how I do it but maybe there's a better way I'm not understanding.
daydreamin7677
If I recall correctly there is only 3 minutes and 20 something seconds of recording available. The work around I did for this was to save my first 8 measure to the SD card and then save my second 8 measures to the SD card. Then i would ope them in Audacity and copy and paste them into to the track in the order and length I wanted them. Then save the track back to the SD card and load into the Spider jam. Hope this helps

When I get done with a riff I save it to the SD card as a WAV file and then move on to the next recording then save that and so on till I'm done then I'll take the SD card put in my computer and sort it out in my DAW. horax
also, the drum volume thing works, but when I turn off the amp it defaults to 100% again. Any way to change this?
Brazzy
also, the drum volume thing works, but when I turn off the amp it defaults to 100% again. Any way to change this? I set mine to 3%, turned it off and on and checked it, it stayed at 3%. So the one I have here is saving it. I'm using the latest firmware.
