roscoe5
Is anyone using a small MIDI CC pedal for full time looper access and control? I was thinking about the old RJM Mastermind or something else small and under $300. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Mastermind? adpos=1o2&creative=103263529321&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=CjwKEAjwn7e8BRCUqZiP_vnrtBkSJAC_lp4H1Q2bYlwxPJph9-8tHSL0DAgGoyBtaZx_r9jDHA_usxoCvTXw_wcB Too bad you cant connect the Helix Rack controller to the Helix Floor processor for more stomps ;)
jasdadgad
For that money, I'd buy a dedicated looper.
roscoe5
Those come up in eBay from time to time for $200 or so. I could possibly use it for other Helix instant access things too. But maybe you're right. I guess I could put a looper in a Helix send/return block and still stay in the Helix the routing. I have an old Boss RC-2 with the external fs pedals I could test with. jasdadgad
I've been having success with "Loopy" on my ipad. And you can control it from the Helix's footswitches. I have a great external looper (Digitech JamMan) but I'm too lazy to hook it up to the Helix, contrary to my advice above. I just use the internal looper most of the time. roscoe5
Oh man, that just reminded me...Amplitube 4 has a great 4 track looper and AT has MIDI learn. I have AT running in my Windows 10 Dell Venue 11 Pro tablet PC i5 8gb. A little nervous to rely on Windows for a gig, but may be worth exploring. Thanks again.
