Basic(ish) question. Making a switch turn 'X' on whist turning 'X' off.

I've tried to work this out - I might be being stupid so bear with me.

Is it possible to make one switch say turn on a drive pedal whilst turning off a another drive pedal?

I know I can do this with snap shots.

I was messing around using a two amp set up and wanted to have one as the drive, and one as the clean 0 mimic a two channel amp. But I can't work out how to make one pedal do turn one thing on and another thing off. I know you can merge to make two things turn on / off.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Mark

You've already figured out how to assign both amps to a switch it seems. So to alternate them, it's simply a matter of selecting one of them, hit the bypass button, and save the patch.

Since there is more than one block assigned to one switch, the one that determines the LED state is the one that's selected from within the group of two amps. So touch, not press, the switch the amps are assigned to, to change that selection. After you have the one you want selected, save the patch.

Thanks I try that later.
