shanecgriffo Posted August 20, 2016 Share Posted August 20, 2016 i've used the guitar/vocal template to record some acoustic guitar to my daw (ableton live) and i'm finding my mic volume recording way too low- (rode nt-3 condensor) even with levels on the helix cranked to max (output levels and mic preamp fx block) i'm barely getting a signal at -36 db on my track. It's gotta be better than that! what am i missing? thanks for any help.. i'm recording a baritone acoustic on the mic btw- which is a darn loud guitar.
