SubAutumn
Hey guys, Just wondering if you guys can help me with a problem i'm currently having with my board. I've had the board for a while, and wanted to get back started with it again, but when trying to boot up the board, it defaults to stating 'Update Flash', and weirdly, with the 'Guitar in' lead in the back, it boots through to the cab selection screen, but I cannot use any button apart from the volume knobs and such. Do you guys have any recommendations? I have installed the latest drivers/USB firmware and flash memory according to Line 6 Monkey. EDIT: I have tried booting the unit into flash mode by holding down when plugging in the power. Also tried holding left and right. And different USB ports, even though my Macbook Pro can see the unit fine in Monkey.
SubAutumn
Any one got any ideas? Or at least point me in the right direction?
BillBee
Things look grim, aside from trying a different power supply and/or repeating the above with nothing plugged in (aside from the usb cable) it might be time to submit a Support Ticket. SubAutumn
I've already raised a ticket about it :) was just hoping that a saviour from the community could provide any help. What was the needed power supply again?
SubAutumn
Question to all HD500 users however, a brief thought comes to me in that one of the buttons may be stuck on the directional pad? (It keeps navigating to Update Flash, which I assume is when you hold down and plug in the unit)
BillBee
If you really think that is the case, you could take it apart, give the switch a shot with DeOxit it (contact cleaner) work it a bit, give it another shot, then reassemble and see if it works. The PS is the DC3g btw.
