Manfre Posted October 19, 2016 Share Posted October 19, 2016 Greetings to all the community and sorry if this tread is in the wrong place of the forum.My name is Luciano, I'm from Argentina.I've got a Toneport UX8 since 2011 but I can only use it for almost a year until it passed out, and it never turn on again.I've sent it to a particular tech that check the power supply, apparently the problem is not there and he cannot find where it is.So I came to this web to find the real service center in my country (Tevelam S.R.L) and the last month I've travel a long trip to this Tevelam service center carrying the thing.After a month or so, they gave me their diagnosis of the problem saying me that the problem is for sure in the principal board or something like that BUT, THEY CANT IMPORT FROM LINE6 ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT THE OFFICIAL SERVICE CENTER. Imagine my mood. I still have to travel to Buenos Aires to get the UX8 and don't know where to take it. What are my options to make it to work? Travel to Uruguay or Chile with the thing? What a competent company !!! (sarcasm)OBVIOUSLY, and forgive me, but my experience with this company is not good at all. I'm not recomending Line6 products in my country to any of my colleagues (I'm in closed circuits of rock bands, and studying electroacustic composition in the university) so I've make a lot of people buying alternatives for your pro selling DL4 as an example.I want to make it to work so I can use it until I can sell it and that's all Line 6, I'm never going to adquire any of your products again.Please, answer me, ALMOST FIVE YEARS with this problem. psarkissian Posted October 19, 2016 Share Posted October 19, 2016 No support in Argentina,... sorry about that. Part of the reason is the rules of Argentina when it comes to this sort of thing. I have a colleague there who has problems getting parts from us there because of the rules and red tape of getting parts there. I wish it was easier for you.
