Tones2
In the old Spider IV amps, the editor used to have a switchable volume boost that you could put at the end of the effects chain that could be assigned to a footswitch to boost volume for solos. I don't see that anywhere in the Spider V editor. Does it have this?

If you set everything except "Gain" to 50% it will be pretty much transparent. You can use "Gain" to set the amount of boost (in dB) that you want. You can then assign the effect block to a foot switch, to give you a solo boost.
vmoncebaiz
You can also use the compressor to achieve an overall volume boost by setting the threshold to a high value (lower number) and the gain will adjust the amount of boost. The compressor is footswitch 1 by default on the FBV3 or Function 1on the FBV mkII (where the volume boost was for the Spider IV)
