Philsar
Hello, I would like to ask this question about the desktop pod hd, is it possible to plug it into the effect loop of a guitar amp and if so how? Thank you for your feedback. cordially
silverhead
The answer to the question you asked is Yes. Connect the FX Out of your amp to the Guitar In on the Pod, and connect the Pod Output to the amp's FX Return. However, the answer to a slightly different question, and one that provides more flexibility in the Pod+amp setup and routing, is the 4-cable method. The question would be "How can I best use my Pod HD with my guitar amp?" Search this forum (and elsewhere) for the term 4CM. Philsar
Thanks Silverhead, but the pod hd desktop is devoid of input and output wolves! There are just 2 outlets left and right, 1 input micro key and 1 input guitar! It's not like the pod hd500 ... Thank you for your comment. Best regards. silverhead
Sorry - my bad. So yeah, without the FX Send/Return on the Pod Desktop you have to decide whether to place it pre- or post-amp with respect to your guitar amp.
BillBee
The mighty SpaceAtl came up with a 4CM method for the bean. Though to be honest I am having some problems understanding what you are looking to do. Search for a thread: 4 Cm The Hd Pod Bean (oh yes this works). That thread shows some real creativity for routing. (yes I cannot copy paste here). :)
