Volume pedal help requested

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to all .... in advance.

I purchased a helix on Dec.19 and as expected for a newbie, I have encountered my first puzzling issue.

I setup a setlist\patch that has a volume pedal at the entry point. When I play and try to diminish the volume using the pedal, the position reading decreases 100% - 0% as expected, but the pedal goes into bypass and the volume remains constant. In essence, no volume change occurs in spite of the readings.

Thanks in advance!!!!

BTW ..... I'm liking this helix a lot!!!!

Try turning off Helix and back on to reboot.

When saving the patch, make sure you save it at the volume you want the patch to start.  (if using "per preset" in Global settings)

Is there "EXP 1 EXP 2" above the Expression pedal?  and EXP 2 should be highlighted

Option 1. Try to delete the Volume block and replace with a new one.

Option 2.

Joystick over to highlight the Volume Block

Press =.  (Menu button)

Press Bypass Assign.

You should see "EXP Toe" over "Switch"  in the far left bottom corner. If not, turn dial to adjust.
