How do I delete effects in the view window of the hd 500x, I can move it disable it but can't figure out how to delete effects?

I read the directions for the software but can't delete the effects or amps picked on the hd 500x software, it says put the cursor over the effect and a drop down triangle pops up but if I go to hit the pull down arrow nothing's opens up, how do you delete effects? I'd like to change then in both the software and in view window on the unit

On the device itself, use the navy key to select the desired amp/FX block in the signal flow view. Then use Knob 1 to select None as the model type.

In the editor software, do essentially the same thing. Select the block with your cursor and then select None in the menu.

No. The menu I am referring to is the drop-down FX-Type menu at the right side of each of the FX edit windows in the FX page of the HD500 Edit program. When you put your cursor over the downward-pointing triangle a menu should pop up. One of the menu selections is None.

The HD500 organizes presets into 'Setlists'. There are 8 setlists, and the factory installed firmware includes 2 (or 3?) setlists of factory presets. The remaining 6 setlists are named User1, User2, etc. Each of these setlists are filled with blank/empty presets. You can select any one of these setlists and use any one of the empty presets as your starting point for building your own preset.
