BowerR64
I picked up a spider 3 chassis, its the stereo 120 that came with 2X10 combo. It had an issue so the guy took it out of the box and just threw it in on a trade we did. It had the overheating problem with the effects chip and would reboot after a few minutes. I put some heatsinks on the processor and the 3 fets that had the standoffs then put a little fan inside hooked to a wallwart power supply (5v) i then hooked that to the power switch. Its a very stable amp and ive been using it every day for about a week now. I was curious that if a get one of the floor pedals for it that has the USB jack on it could i plug that into a computer and edit some of the patches? Are there any advanced settings i can access with a foot pedal or is it pretty much just stuck the way it is?
BillBee
No pc editing with a III, no midi either. You should check the manual for advanced editing which IIRC is all done from the face of the unit.
